He just called out cnn reporters at his rally, and waited for two full minutes to allow his fans to hollar and scream at them.

He's going to get somebody hurt.

Trump is a marvelously efficient acid bath, stripping away his supporters’ surfaces, exposing their skeletal essences. Consider Mike Pence, a favorite of what Republicans devoutly praise as America’s “faith community.” Some of its representatives, their crucifixes glittering in the television lights, are still earnestly explaining the urgency of giving to Trump, who agreed that his daughter is “a piece of ass,” the task of improving America’s coarsened culture.
You forget sometimes, in Breitbart's Republic, that the like of George Will can exist.

Trump just brought a baby on stage that dressed like him. They had a conversation in front of the crowd

I've been waiting for that show to take off but it hasn't really happened yet.

Just finished episode 3 and in three episodes it has about 6 different cliffhanger / big plot points from west wing.
I'm loving it. And the most accurate depiction of a republican I've ever seen.

This past State of the Union, it was Orin Hatch. We dodged a bullet there.

Trump's concession speech won't be a concession. It will be one or more of the following:

- A rendition of his greatest hits insults toward Hillary that we already know so well by now; but perhaps delivered with much more rape-rage intensity, now that he has to face defeat in front of the entire world;
- Several shots at key republican defectors such as Paul Ryan and Reince Priebus;
- A few potshots at Bill Clinton;
- Several allusions to the election being rigged;
- The launchpad for his raison d'etre for the next 4 years: shitting on Hillary as often as he can on TV, in a manner similar to what he did to obama with the "birther" movement. In honor of his loss he will unveil some new, "special" lie just to pique new interest and kick off the next 4 years' worth of shameless tirades that will meets the needs of his newly-calcified tea party+ "base" of supporters / consumers.
- A reference to how great his family and Melania is (with a pervy full body grope hug for Ivanka); and
- A plug for his his newest great hotel/resort.

I think this will get more interesting as Drumpf starts to war openly with republicans.

And as more snippets of off-camera footage of him saying horrible things are released

If your only concern is "who will be president," then yeah...it's basically the last 30 minutes of The Return of the King at this point.

But this election is so distinctly unique, so unavoidably now a turning point for American politics, for the Republican Party, and for the country as a whole, that I cannot agree with you less. None of this is business as usual. None of this is unremarkable, or within the frame of weary-making. Our system will reverberate from this unprecedented disruption for decades. The Supreme Court will be defined by it for far longer. And there's no real knowing if we've passed through to the other side of anything yet. I don't think we have.

Burt, are you suggesting Trump will defect to Russia? Or be poisoned? Or that Hillary will be poisoned? I don't entirely follow.
Some people are saying that a little polonium-210 would solve a lot of problems. I'm not saying that, but some people are suggesting that. I wouldn't say that, but some are. ;)

We did and yes.

As for the other thing, if his vitriol continues ramping up I will be surprised enough to donate to rm if this all ends without any kind of violence.

Where's his standing with the NRA at this point? Any fractures there, or does he still have a lot of gun-owners on his side?
Like a bunch of conservative issues, I get the feeling he thinks nothing of it and just spouts talking points to try and woo people over. See: last night's SCOTUS question, which immediately became, "Blah blah 2nd Amendment, something something Hillary spend some money on your own campaign."
