Opening scene was fun. It's certainly easy on the eyes. Whoever the director is, I like them.

If you like that, you may like this:

-The Color Purple (1985) Occasionally prone to melodrama, but my god this is a beautiful film. Such a rich sense of history, such compassion and understanding for all its characters. The last ten minutes are overwhelming.

-The Gunman (2015) Hella solid action drama bolstered by a pretty deep well of theme and character. Just more proof that critics have no fucking clue about anything.

Snuggled up with my wife in bed last night and watched Executive Decision - she loves that movie. I think bed-based action movie-watching is something we should do more often.
