*rice has no place in stew of any kind. Please don’t do that. You’ll be in the shitter for days if you do.

I'm on the fence on the coffee.

Making Oven Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Tomatoes for dinner tonight. Looks good and easy and light on calories.

ftr that recipe was great. Well, I thought so at least. Stupid heathens...

Anyway, it could have been made better with some yellow cherry tomatoes chopped in half and mixed in. I know the recipe already has tomatoes but some fresh ones would have been even better.

it's snowing all day, so i'm making my great aunt's beef stew recipe that i haven't had in forever. will be delicious, amd also fills the house up with a splendid aroma.

cubed chuck roast, mushrooms, dry onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, red wine, pearl onions. may toss in some baby carrots later. serving it over mashed taters.

my wife's dropping hints that she can't be bothered to make mashed potatoes later, all could be lost.

she makes them better than me.

mash them and toss a packet of onion soup mix in.

Made an egg noodle mac & cheese casserole. Just came out of the oven and it looks good enough, just have to wait for it to cool down.

Finally making my pot roast. 3.5 lbs of chuck roast with carrots and Yukon potatoes. Currently cooking in the crock pot. The whole apartment smells heavenly.

Two hours to go. I'm hungry.

That’s the best thing about crockpot cooking. Especially when you’ve been at work all day.
