I wouldn't be very surprised to see a let down game vs. your Braves tonight. Shelby Miller certainly deserves a break.

This Mets team the complete opposite, totally loose and just having fun, no matter what goes wrong they never give up. Can't say enough about Cespedes, what a pick up. Has there been another trade deadline pickup that's had such a positive impact on his new team?

There's no chance man. No chance. This is the worst Braves team of all time. They are a AA team with 3 or 4 major league players on the roster and some old guys who used to be. They aren't really competing unless it's Philadelphia who are equally terrible. Miller will be great for 5 or 6 maybe 7 innings, give up maybe a run or two then the bullpen will allow 15 in the next 2 innings because Gonzalez pulls Miller for some unknown inexplicable reason.

all the A's did with Cespedes was win 2 division titles, all theyve done since? is lose
the Tigers still had a shot at the wild card when they had him, after the trade? nose dive to last place!

Its odd that hes getting traded so much when all the team does is when when hes in the lineup (look up the A's winning percentage with and without him, even when he had a stint on the DL they tanked for 2 weeks)
It would seem like hes a negative clubhouse guy (and there was rumblings that the BoSox didnt like him for that reason) yet, the teams just win with him.

I already had Smyly, Chen, Fiers, and even Greinke have subpar starts this week, Severino cant hurt me, or I might have benched him tonight

I have a pitching rotation anchored by Chris Sale and Johnny Cueto. Last week was very frustrating.

My focus in every draft is on position players early and pitchers late. This year my rotation has somehow anchored my team.

I tend to focus on position players first, but I only go for 9 of them. I want 9 guys I can start every day then load up on pitchers.

But this team is in a no salary cap auction draft. I used $750 of the $2000 I won last year so I pretty much just got any player I wanted, provided they weren't another team's keeper.

The Tigers had no chance of the Wild Card. None.

Last night getting rained out sucked, but I can't express how much I'm looking forward to watching three Jays/Yankees games in a 24 hour period starting tonight.

Did I mention Marcus Stroman is starting tomorrow?
