Two years ago we did a campus tour of Wash U in St. Louis for my daughter. There was a power point before our tour of the campus. They did a land acknowledgement at the power point and I couldn't roll my eyes any further back in my head.

Higgs is down under, so that makes sense. They feel worse about what they did to the aboriginal people than we do about native americans here in the states.
