Pop the cork
A champagne glass
Raise to the future
Drink to the past
Thank the lord
For the friends he cast
In the play he wrote for you

I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Did you go with the 30 year? Nothing like signing papers that seem like they were taken from a Jetson’s cartoon. 2048? What the fuck?!Strat wrote:This feels very anti-climactic. I closed on a home. i had to come back to work. I dont even get to move into it till thursday. My GF is out of town.

Re: The Home Improvement Thread
We took out a $200k 30 year loan 13 years ago this summer. After a couple years of watching the principal barely move, I started paying extra. Then I realized I could go to 15. Kept paying extra. Then realized I could go to 10. This bitch will be paid off this October, and then the whole world can eat my ass before I take bullshit or do anything I don’t want to.Strat wrote:Straight cash, homie.daft ({^}) wrote:Did you go with the 30 year? Re: The Home Improvement Thread
On two teachers’ salaries. I’ve been adding $750 a month to the principal for years. If you convince yourself that’s your actual payment and make it your priority, it’s doable. We still take a vacation (or 2) every year, but my wife drove the same car for 15 years. I’m on year 10 of mine. I think that’s a key.Strat wrote:on a teachers salary? Yea right.
