The amount of people confused about how and why cap cake back old, is astounding. It’s the easiest to grasp element of the time travel aspect. The rest of it is bonkers and breaks their own rules but hey.

Rise of Skywalker has a serious mountain to climb to come near this I’d say. Both in public and critical opinion and box office.

Still baffled how 22 movies in ten years leading to this is seen like a beloved cultural event but two Star Wars films in one year is fatigue.

Yeah. Like I said, it feels like an ending. A bit treacly but pretty conclusive

I'm pretty sure this is the furthest I've gone without seeing spoilers for a movie in years. I mean I've seen a lot of speculation but that's it. I had Spider-Man spoiled for me last year like a week or so in advance but that was my own fault for reading comments on a trailer.

My son is seeing it with his friends at a birthday party so my wife and I get to pick our time to watch it without him.

Interesting. I can't think of a single movie I've ever had spoiled. It's pretty easy really.

edit: Listening to the Doug Loves Movies podcast and the one person who had just watched Endgame said that Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel, and Infinity War were the three movies she would recommend watching before you see Endgame.

Ant man is a fucking pain in the ass and drags this movie down for 99% of the time he’s in it.
