Really unfair that there are no New England shows.

CopperTom wrote:Supposedly, there will be a SiriusXM show to showcase the new album. I guess those are usually in smaller than usual locations.
I’ll def be going to one in Cali if there are 5.CopperTom wrote:Dimi said CA gets 5 shows. And a non-CA city was not guessed correctly. So 16 shows plus SiriusXM show.CopperTom wrote:San Diego too.TouringReg wrote:So are we looking at:
Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City, Hamilton, Baltimore, NYC, Nashville, St Louis, Denver, Phoenix, LA and SF (or Oakland)?
The bad news is tickets will be for friends, family, VIPs, SiriusXM employees, and giveaways via SiriusXM. I would have LOVED to have gone.Birds in Hell wrote:evenslow wrote:what does this mean?CopperTom wrote:plus SiriusXM show.CopperTom wrote:Supposedly, there will be a SiriusXM show to showcase the new album. I remember when they put tickets up for the letterman after show show and I got them. Good times.CopperTom wrote:The bad news is tickets will be for friends, family, VIPs, SiriusXM employees, and giveaways via SiriusXM. Phish did one recently and it was about the same length of an average Phish show.mkay0 wrote:I don't know anything about how SiriusXM does these shows - is this a full show, or a shorter showcase, like how AOL did them years ago?
The Phish one was live. They have rebroadcast it but won't be releasing it for download, which pissed off a good chunk of the fanbase.tragabigzanda wrote:Do they broadcast them live, or pre-tape then edit?Simple Torture wrote:Phish did one recently and it was about the same length of an average Phish show.mkay0 wrote:I don't know anything about how SiriusXM does these shows - is this a full show, or a shorter showcase, like how AOL did them years ago?
For Rhode Island drivers it's 90 minutes way. For Massachusetts drivers it's 30 minutes away.Monkey_Driven wrote:It's also like 90 minutes from Boston where they've played 100+ times.Bammer wrote:Rhode Island has over a million people.Monkey_Driven wrote:Right.mkay0 wrote:Even if you count Council Bluffs and Lincoln as the same region, they are still due. Three shows in 30 years for a region with well over a million people.Monkey_Driven wrote:Omaha proper hasn't had a show since the early 90's.mkay0 wrote:Nashville -> St Louis -> Denver
This is like a 1200 mile trip with one show between. Either there is another stop here or they are dramatically loosening up on the environmental concerns about number of miles covered. Maybe I'm just being wishful for a KC, Moline, Lincoln, Des Moines stop.
So, too long?Simple Torture wrote:Phish did one recently and it was about the same length of an average Phish show.mkay0 wrote:I don't know anything about how SiriusXM does these shows - is this a full show, or a shorter showcase, like how AOL did them years ago?

Then what will I do during Lukin?96583UP wrote:suggestion: On this tour, since it might be the last, instead of making Even Flow the piss-break song, make it the whack-off break song
