Supposedly there is audio available which I’d love to get a quick listen to, but the story I saw did not have a working clip of the audio.

I can see them recording this year but I wouldn’t expect it to be released til ‘23

Gigaton was their last studio album, I’m guessing. I can see a couple more years of touring then maybe they all agreeing to go their separate ways with Family and other projects. It will be a great album to go out on

Yeah, ever since Covid this has felt like a band on the verge of ending soon.

Except that they've already recorded with watt and have expressed excitement over it and ament has mentioned recording with Pearl Jam more in the future and trying different things.

The band is pretty excited still. They're not going anywhere

Every interview with Stone he talks about how he and Jeff are talking a lot with excitement about new ways to record for PJ.

I don't think they sound like a band at the end as much as a band (hopefully) over their agonising "PJ20" get-famous-quick-before-we-die identity crisis; hopefully they go quiet again and start (or continue) to make and play good music

The band has at least one more album left in them. I bet it is in 2024 or so.
