Endless Boogie just dropped "Admonitions" today. I snagged it on Bandcamp and not gonna say its their absolute best, but gotta love the 9 minutes of lazy wandering that this little ditty takes me on.

I've heard a few tracks here and there from the Velvet Underground tribute album that came out this year, and what I've heard have all been fantastic.

Ello Sailor wrote:'Pure Morning' was also a pretty big deal way back when. Check that shit out, Joey.
Certain albums, sometimes surprising and sometimes not, just transport you to times in the past. “Without you I’m nothing” is one of those albums for me. Any time I put it on, I’m immediately whiplashed to a very specific time in 1998. It’s fun sometimes.

Love the chorus, but the repetitious lyrics seem lazy to me. I don't know.

The new Low is certainly interesting. But I'm not sure it's for me. I like most of it. But I'm not sure what kind of replay value it has. It feels repetitive and grading at times. Though nowhere near as good, it kinda reminds me of Kid A in some ways. So I guess it's not a surprise that it isn't an instant grab for me.

On the other hand, Year of the Spider by Shannon & The Clams is right up my alley. I'm loving the holy hell out of this thing.

Yeah, that's an early favorite of mine too. But I need to listen to it way more before I start getting into all that.
