I also think there are hints throughout the album of old Muse (when they were good) and David Bowie.

Seems like the consensus favorite is I Appear Missing, while there isn't much love for Vampyre. It's totally the opposite for me. IAM is a cool song, but I just can't stop listening to Vampyre. That and Smooth Sailing are my definite favorites on this album. The whole thing is awesome though. I've always wanted to get more into this band, but had trouble. This album changed that for me. I've been listening to them non-stop (all albums) and loving every second.
