Vic Theater 07

I really like some of these versions of obscure songs, and some others are pretty bad.

I listened to Hartford from last year on Sirius coming into work this morning. I heard the opening strums of Long Road. It took me a minute to put the connection to Newtown and right after I did I heard Ed's voice crack on the word "precious". Got chills & a lump in my throat at the same time.

I really like this show. In a year they played way too many covers for my taste, this show doesn't have any.

Virgina Beach 2000 with the thunder and lightning, and the y led intro before the song. I love those US I 2000 boots. Topps!

This was my first show. Love the improv before RVM and the mellow finish. The Daughter tag is one of my favorites as well.

Boston 2010

This is a really good show masked by an awfully produced boot.

Here's the improv if anyone wants to hear it.

Cincinnati 6/24/06. I love how Eddie sings ''let the show begin'' even when ''Love Boat Captain'' is like the 13th song of the set.

That's a good show, but that is hilarious about LBC. I like this show because its the last one before they start opening for Petty (meaning shorter sets) and they seem aware of it: the first encore is five songs but each one is extended to like seven to ten minutes. And pretty solid versions, if memory serves.

Efiel/Nurnburg Pinkpop 2000

I love how cameron's drums pop in those old Euro boots from 00.

Oh and Merriweather Post Pavillion Maryland 2000. Number 47 US Leg I My first show. And my favorite still. That one stays in the car forever.
