A very long day. I had fun. I didn't dig Daughter, especially the attempted call. I was pleased with everything else.

But sharing a stage and a night with some of the greediest people on the earth? For an event who's alleged purpose is to end poverty and inequality and blah blah blah... These people, and the politicians they buy, are THE cause of it all. I mean, dictionary hypocrisy going on here..Birds in Hell wrote:I don't know, I'm thankful that Ed has more or less abandoned bonehead anti-capitalist ranting.dprival78 wrote:Remember when eddy used to rail against corporations?

I thinkt hats an elementary viewpoint of it. Which i think is what Ed had years ago. I also dont think he rallied against all corporations, or that corporations were bad, it was the rich people that didnt give back that had ed riled up. That sort of sentiment can only be spoken of on a surface level from the stage.dprival78 wrote:But sharing a stage and a night with some of the greediest people on the earth? Yeah, I don't think that's necessarily true.dprival78 wrote: But sharing a stage and a night with some of the greediest people on the earth? For an event who's alleged purpose is to end poverty and inequality and blah blah blah... These people, and the politicians they buy, are THE cause of it all.
It's like Ed's "just get all the powerful people in the world in one room..." ramble in the Italy DVD - uh, it's not that simple.

Lightning Bolt got me into it. To that point it was kinda, hey cool, I'm watching PJ live on my tv. I thought they hit a pretty good groove there and mostly rode it the rest of the way.CopperTom wrote:I thought Lightning Bolt was good too.southp wrote:No joke I was actually hoping to hear Corduroy.

Bill Gates is heavily invested in Monsanto. Eddie grew up? Or said, fuck it, I'm old and rich and don't really care anymore?Strat wrote:I thinkt hats an elementary viewpoint of it.
