You know it's unfair that I get so much criticism from spike about the quality of my posting and you're allowed to go around making posts like this.

There's no justice on this board.

Dude, you're a weak poster, and I'm a board legend. Justice would mean never having to read another post by a tier 4 poster like yourself, but you're right there is no justice on this board.

There are some flat out amazing stories on Sword & Scale. Some really fucked up shit, too. But man... Did you guys know Johnny Gosch was a real kid? I thought he was an urban legend made up to teach kids about stranger danger. But nope! Real kid. Terrible story. And the conspiracy theory surrounding his disappearance is one of the most bonkers things I've ever heard in my life. Mesmerizing and disgusting and totally fucking beyond.

For those who don't like four people sitting around BSing, you should check out Good Job, Brain. It's a quiz show where they do quizzes (duh) but also sometimes just research a topic and do a quick couple-minute high-level presentation on it. Always learning when you're listening to them.

This sounds fun.

But I can't turn myself away from listening to this Detroit woman talk about murdering two of her children because she believed they were raping her youngest son on Sword and Scale.

Seriously. This fucking podcast.

I'm a huge fan, in theory, but can't say I listen that often -- it's just so long! I manage to sneak in a couple hours here and there, but never can I get through a whole episode. I know I'm missing out -- the level of comedic world-building is on par with The Simpsons.
Have you heard Tom's appearances on Hollywood Handbook? It's some of my favorite podcasting ever, but it's only good if you like Alt Comedy.

I know what you mean about the show being too long. I usually just have it on in the background while I do something else.

Nope, don't even know that podcast. But his interview in this book was a highlight:

Hollywood Handbook is like if Dev and Argo were raised in LA, were moderatley succesful TV writers and started a podcast. It's pretty obnoxious, but very funny. The episodes with Tom are fantastic, they really drive him nuts (in character)

Just picked up tickets to see Spontaneanation at the detroit improv festival. That'll be twice in one year I've been able to see PFT live. Not bad.
