Same. Is it correct that Taylor doesn't appear on a studio album until There Is Nothing Left to Lose?
And apparently he's only on half of the songs on that album: https://loudwire.com/taylor-hawkins-fav ... ers-songs/
Interesting, as I think he was a well-established member of the live band at that point. I'm definitely right there with him on "Aurora" though -- I love that song, and his description of it is perfect. I never thought of it as "yacht-rock"-y but it totally is.

This whole thing is sad, for sure -- Foo Fighters were always a band I felt affection for, even when the quality of output started declining and I stopped buying the new albums. They were a really fun band to be into for those first few years.

They’re all on the first record, and then I’d make room for Stacked Actors, Aurora, and My Poor Brain
The third album is my favorite. The fourth is good too.

Very similar to mine! I’d definitely have to make room for Exhausted and Oh George.
Oh yeah, forgot about "Exhausted" -- that's a great one. The whole first album really could be the list.

Also really like "Down In the Park," from that X-Files CD. Lots of great stuff from those first few years.

I’d be surprised if that’s it for the Foos. They may go on hiatus for a while, but I’m willing to bet they’ll continue under that moniker

Not in order, just as they come to mind:

Aurora
Live-In Skin
M.I.A
Exhausted
Oh, George
Everlong
Walking After You (X-Files version)
New Way Home

I can't think of two more I like that much. I tend to go for the dreamier / poppier side of their work, it looks like
