If its real, seems like a safe bet that the red spot is the sole bullet in the chamber. I like the name of the song, sounds like something Jeff would come up with. But, I'm not convinced its real.

I was seeing it as a kind of country-esque song with acoustic guitars, a nice lead slide guitar and a skiffle beat on the snare drum played with brushes. But Matt never uses brushes anymore, so...
