VS is probably their best, I think. Vitalogy is a cool name but I kind of hate that it's just ripped from a book. The cover art doesn't help. I suppose in a vacuum, I like it. But the context hurts it. Ten, No Code, Yield, Binaural, Pearl Jam, Backspacer and Lightning Bolt are all meh to stupid, to me.

Interesting write up from the Bulgarian fansite about somebody who claims to have heard a few songs from this new album. I've put it through a translator but it came out a little weird:

Ohh wow mamma baby bay! that is probably their best album since riot action. It dark, moody, political and angy. It slowed - this am probably only two speedily rockers in that album on stark contrast the to stuff in backspacer lightning bolt and avocado. Myself am then exciting around that album! eddie is singing on he is a range - crooning, low timbre, don't screeching. Intelligent that crossed between riot action and the onto wild.
