he will scour the internet at all hours for direct or veiled insults from republican defectors; and seize on them with a visceral blast of tweets so immature that even the most hateful of conventional republican voters may become turned off and not vote; thereby preventing down-ballot republican candidates from receiving knock-on votes
should DJT successfully lay waste to the Republican party via a 24/7/30 series of internet meltdowns, leading to a Democractic House of Reps, Democratic Senate, and Democratic President; DJT may go actually down in history as having been the catalyst for making america great again

before all this internal attacking of republicans, he already didnt have enough votes to carry the election without the independent and minority segments that Romney failed to capture in the last election
without those groups, and far less of the republican establishment backing him, he is truly finished
the question is how much more damage will he do to them before this is over

In any case, I think we are headed towards a three-party system: The dems, the deplorables, and perhaps some amalgamation of the gun-loving old guard Republicans and the Libertarians -- let's call it the Chimera Party.
I've often thought / assumed this would eventually happen, but at this point I think the practical / physical / legal barriers to the creation of a true comparable third party, integrated into all levels of american politics as the repubs and dems are; is just too goddamn difficult to do. And that's even if you had enough bodies on the same page (thousands) that were committed enough (will maintain rank and file) and knowledgeable enough (how to legalese their way onto ballots and township boards and organize primaries and all that) to attempt to execute that type of break-out and build-out.
In "thought" there may be 3 or 4 parties (see where leftie dems try to take things next time); but in "deed" there will always remain two, IMO. We got two sprawling political octopuses in this country that have evolved over a couple hundred years, whose tentacles have wound their way over thousands of seemingly incoherent but ultimately excruciatingly rationally-self-interested gerrymandered miles to touch every level of American government from the shitty municipal level all the way up to the shitty top that they can get their suckers on. Attempting to reconstruct one of those from scratch is basically impossible. At every step, other members of an opposing tentacle will do everything they can legally and even illegally to try to prevent you from a fair shot at integrating into the system. You could get a few sporadic wins in certain dedicated areas (the alabama revolution!); but to live and grow and participate in a meaningful way at the national level requires layers of support at the local and state level; and it's just too tall a task to coordinate creating a new octopus of one's own.
Instead, warring groups will spar for control of their octopus among themselves. If they don't come to consensus on a leader, as we are viewing right now in the republican party; they will simply fail, together. If they fail in repeated elections, some may eventually defect to the Dems, because at least there they can get winning support.
Just my two cents of course. But it seems that political institutions in this country are too many, too heterogenous, and too inefficient for a true comparable 3rd party to develop. In an industry of fair-weatherism; the level of commitment and time it would take to successfully coordinate that type of build-out just doesn't seem achievable. Instead, candidates will just flake in the direction they think the wind is blowing in one of the existing frameworks in order to try and save themselves.

U.S. may experience "disgrace riots" from white americans after Trump loses

There were some shady mailers sent out during a few primary elections in the spring trying to convince people to show up at a later date. That kind of shit is inexcusable. But if a candidate is going to mislead his own supporters...I ain't even mad.
