I'm not sure about it yet. I need to know what it is before I can understand if parts are terrible or if they're well executed parts of a specific thing. I don't hate it though. I'll keep watching it.
Also watching it...i might have seen 7 eps...they are all pretty much the same. Its not bad, and im enjoying it but damn its slow.
I finished this last night and was going to ask if you'd seen it.

The restructuring of our nation’s institutions by capable leadership isn’t enough for you?
I did tune in to see Bon Jovi. Is that what you're referring to?

we didn't like it..and i love ted danson...it seemed too fast and easy with the jokes..no smarts in it..although we only watched the first one
That’s disappointing
The characters develop into a groove by the third episode. Tina Fey's fingerprints are on the writing, but it's no 30 Rock.
Agree.
We’re about 15 minutes* into the first episode. I’m enjoying it. So far, it seems like VEEP-lite.

*Really lucky this time. Usually we only get to watch stuff in 2-3 minute increments. That’s all we can get in before it’s “mom” or “Wease” or “Mrs Wease” or “Daddy”. It takes FOREVER to get thru the hour-long shows. Pretty much why we don’t watch movies anymore.

Watched the first two. I love it. So far, Jaydon is the funniest thing on there. Danson is doing great, too, tho.

Starting to love Mr. Mayor. It's even more fun if you pretend it's a Good Place spin-off. I often think about what Michael is up to on Earth, and this scenario would track.

In an odd turn, Mrs Wease does not like Mr Mayor (she didn’t like 30 Rock, either) but loved The Good Place.

It's really strange, bold, and unique. It takes fine big swings. I think you'd find a lot to like about it even if you didn't love it overall. It's very genre in the best way. I'd be curious what you think of it.
