It's not an extended version, it's a different track altogether. Red Dot is not contained anywhere within the mp3 of Small Mosquito that dime posted. It's just another track with steel drums and chanting.

Also, there is a snippet of this in SVT. From memory, I believe it is around the part, or before, when jack is talking about "the time we're having while playing the song..."

he even says at the end of that very clip "eddie decided to sing over it a bit". its red dot. the actual red dot part might be before the fade in or might be from another recording with the same 4-track or it might be that pj heard that and were inspired to create red dot in the studio. either way, in essence it is red dot. even jack considers it so.

How is "Eddie decided to sing over it" evidence that it's Red Dot? Ed is singing in that clip (the low voice singing along to the steelpan figure during that ascending part). Nothing Jack says indicates that it's Red Dot, but more importantly, it's a different groove and the steel drum is playing different notes. There is nothing indicating that it's Red Dot other than your imagination, and the simple fact that it features the same instruments.
