Headed to Mrs Wease’s hometown. We’re throwing a party for her parents’ 50th anniversary. Got about 2/3 of the cooking done yesterday but still have to decorate the venue, finish the food… And have we gotten any kind of assistance from Mrs Wease’s brother? Take a guess

This is one of the numerous examples of my getting more and more out of touch with what is socially acceptable/normal these days.
I'm happy to stay here in my ignorant bubble though. It seems on the daily I find things that make me go "what's all that about?".

I just can't fathom this whole "send a pic" thing. When my daughter was doing snap chat the idea of having to have a pic with every message was gross to me.
In fairness though, if I had have wanted to send a dick pick when I was a kid that would have involved a Kodak brownie, a ridiculously embarrassing trip to the chemist to develop the film, and a stamp.

I follow a really great artist on Instagram known for her paintings of space. Galaxies, planets, etc. She just made a comment about having to turn off messaging because of all the unsolicited dick pics. :/
