this is real good
That is nice and highlights that EVH was a good songwriter. Every time I see Grohl on drums it just makes me pine for a Them Crooked Vultures follow up.Strat wrote:this is real good
They said at the time that a 2nd album was ready to go. But then they always say that during interviews.surfndestroy wrote:That is nice and highlights that EVH was a good songwriter. My wife and I literally cried together when we saw the Insta photo of the Dixie Chicks in studio. I'm more excited for a new Dixie Chicks record than an new Pearl Jam record. And I mean that unironically.bune wrote:On the same front, the Dixie Chicks are talking about a new album. I know few if any of you care but I only mention it because hey tool has a new album after 13 years and the same is true for them.
Also my wife likes them and she's super excited.
at this point I am too. I finally listened to that PJ protest song and wow. I like a lot of their stuff that you guys don't (hence why I rarely comment in the PJ threads when it comes to the albums) but this was just not good. I mean, the whole band sounds bored behind Eddie and the production makes Matt sound like he's trying to mimic St. Anger.durdencommatyler wrote:My wife and I literally cried together when we saw the Insta photo of the Dixie Chicks in studio. Are you talking about Can't Deny Me? I actually dig that song. Not that that fact will help me much in this thread. But still.bune wrote:at this point I am too. We saw them twice in 2016, once here and the second time in Calgary because why the heck not.
