Musk couldn't care less about the stock price of Tesla. He didn't care when he bought Twitter. He doesn't care now that he's one of the most powerful people on Earth. He won't care if he goes bankrupt. Dude's a gambler.

Dime kindly get your head out of your arse. The los of billions means nothing to a man who was a near trillionaire. The losers are the stock-holding employees and working-class investors who are watching their investment portfolios take a big hit.

My bleeds for them. And if you can’t see the bigger picture there, and those same people taking their money whatever is left of it, and backing the fuck away from him and everything he touches and he’s involved in, I would politely suggest it’s you that needs your head removed from your asshole. Surgery may be needed going by the sycophantic state of that post.
Do you have any idea how the average 401k investor deploys capital? It's entirely passive; they set-it-and-forget-it, or just let their employer's preferred investment manager handle the allocation. The gains needed -- in an increasingly volatile public securities marketplace -- to make up for the short term loss is significant.

Don’t know if I agree with the bankrupt part, but the rest is spot-on.

not even remotely. They're watching it in confusion, or more likely, they'll take a peek at their portfolio at some point in the next several weeks and go "wtf? why did my retirement fund just drop 10%?"

Now you’re just repeating a soft version of what I said.
Small time investors and large investors will back away from him completely.

Have you hit your head?

If I thought Trump was playing 5D interdimensional chess, I'd say he exaggerates just so these idiots will write these terrible "fact check" articles:

"We had the lowest number of illegal border crossing ever!"

Fact check: umm, acccktually it was only the lowest since the 1960s

"21 million people came here illegally in the last four years!"

Umm, acccktually it was only 12 million, and since we do nothing to prevent them from trying, some may have come over more than once.

"Tariffs are great!"

Umm, accckshualy, economists say it's bad (this is not even a fact check).

It's pretty sad that most of the spending cuts from the DOGE are funded again in the budget bill. Classic .gov behavior.

You are prioritizing the schadenfreude to be found in Elon's marginal financial loss over the empathy to be granted towards working-class people. It's symbolic of your lack of financial literacy, and your corroded soul.

My corroded soul ?

Dare I ask your opinion on millions of people fleeing war torn countries being devastated by US bombs and US foreign policy?
What are your feelings on their souls I wonder
If we want to talk about souls I’m sure yours is immaculate for to be throwing around shit like that!
