I wish I had never finished that book. It's a really good book until the end. The end sucks!VinylGuy wrote:Im loving The Stand. Everyone seems to be in rage because its a lot different than the book but damn guys, its really cool. I havent finished that book, i may do it after the show is over.
The cast is so good.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. S3E1 is the first time that I've understood what the show is trying to do.VinylGuy wrote:Only one left for Search Party.
Best comedy in tv right now

This is the second time I’ve tried it. I started watching it when it first came on and it fell flat for me then, so I dropped it. I’ve made it farther this time, but it still isn’t grabbing me.
It was very unclear to me. It didn't even occur to me (even after reading Nussbaum's criticism detailing exactly that; I thought she was cuckoo-bananas) until E3S1. Everything prior is too scattered tonally to be cohesive.VinylGuy wrote:Its pretty clear from the pilot.
