Re: What are you making tonight?
Couldn't find a recipe that fit what I wanted to I kind of threw some stuff together. Some fresh sliced mushroom, miniature shrimp, frozen peas and carrots, and a can of water chestnut in a chicken broth plus the won ton. After it was all cooked for about 20 minutes I diced some green onion, threw that in, and served with some crunchy stir fry noodles on top. Man that was good.

I made the best omelet this morning
cooked up some onions, garlic, and greens and put them inside a 3-egg blanket covered in sharp cheddar cheese. I ate it for my lunch.

Do omelets reheat well? I've never considered it.tree_ wrote:I made the best omelet this morning

Yes. But, I hardly ever reheat them after more than a few hours after cooking them. They're always as good as fresh, as far as I can tell.JuanHamm wrote:Do omelets reheat well? I've never considered it?tree_ wrote:I made the best omelet this morning

Grilled a beef tenderloin and I’m glad I read some instructions real quick first.

Made some smothered chicken from a Cook's Country recipe. It was really simple and delicious and the gravy it produced was fucking stellar.

I made a simple rice pilaf with long grain, onion and butter. It was really rich together, in a good way. Mashed potatoes and greens will be the move next time I think.
