But I think that has more to do with the heat/humidity and the cross training I've been doing. Yesterday I did an hour of circuit/free weight work and then went to the beach and swam for about an hour.
i want your body
You really don't
i’ll take the parts that help you do those things

I drank over 3 L of water today and I’m ready to go kill it in the super humid heat

7 miles at a 9:25 pace. Planned on 5 but hit that zen stride and just kept going. I only stopped at 7 because I exited the park and hit a stop light. I felt strong, though. Probably could have done 8+ without the forced stop. But I'm also grateful. If I had pressed on, I'm sure I'd have regretted it tomorrow.

Good day.

That's seven days of workouts in a row. Tomorrow is a full rest day. I'm not doing shit.

Rest up, Joe. In August you're starting the activity streak with me, tree and the rest of the crew. (Mowing counts)

Does walking count? I do a lot of walking.

Yeah, I dunno if I'm onboard for a daily activity streak, but I will try... something to aim for

Anything you want to call an activity counts in my book. Just a personal challenge to commit to some purposeful movement every day. Doesn't have to be the same thing for the whole month. For example, I run 4-5 times a week, so on the running "off" day I plan to mow, ride bikes, do planks, or family walks. Just something to get off the couch.

Strava group!

Or since not everyone is on Strava we could do a thread or just check in here or the exercise thread?

Is there already a group created, or were you or someone making one?

There was a group at one point, but it fell apart. Link is somewhere in this thread, I think.

So I think my constant knee niggle lately stems from...*checks notes*

...always pushing my left heel into my right knee, all crane-like, while sleeping.

7.1 miles today averaging 9:30 a mile. Started slow with intent and felt fantastic pretty much the whole run. Got detoured by two barrio dogs guarding a trailhead before dawn so that was fun.

Around 18 miles for the week. Don't really feel like pushing it for 20 tomorrow so I think I'll start the August streak with a family walk.

7 miles is my longest since my 2011 half marathon, and my chafed nipples can prove it.
