Do you think I'd call him a nonviolent offender? He was convicted of armed robbery.

What is a non-violent offender? Property crime causes trauma to the victims, particularly children if their house is robbed or bike stolen or something of that sort. I suppose you could say that someone who found a pot plant in the wild, repotted it on their property, and consumed it solely themselves is non-violent. Or someone who builds an illegal shed or something.

he should be locked up. he has a history of armed robbery and holding up stores. was given a fair shot at home monitoring and abused it. fled when confronted by the police. and allegedly tried to carjack someone.
