Our numbers keep going up in the more popular counties lately. Governor just mandated mask wearing in 7 of them.

DeWine has been mostly ok dealing with this, for a Republican. The shut down in March was really effective, but he caved to pressure from the legislature to open things too soon so here we are with case numbers trending in the wrong direction.

We visited Cincinnati this past weekend. While they all bitched and complained about it, I did notice that EVERYONE there wore a mask in public.

So a pastor at the church we go to (or went to before the pandemic) has tested positive. He's in quarantine, and they've put out template response on their social media to let people know who have gone to church the weekend before his results.

I don't go to church anymore (or rarely) and my wife and daughter were the ones to go weekly on Saturday nights. When the church decided to open up a few weeks ago, my wife and daughter were like "nope" and have been watching the livestreams. No one wearing masks and they get up to do communion. We were saying that was a disaster waiting to happen.

Hopefully no one gets infected, but it just seemed to be a bad idea to open up and not require masks. We think with some of the comments from church goers and higher ups that the whole church supports Trump so that probably has something to do with their decisions on this matter.

I've been arguing with my sister about whether or not my niece and nephew should go back to school in the fall. I think it's nuts to resume school before there's a vaccine. Seems like a recipe for disaster.
