How does that make him likeable?

He’s been at the bottom of the human barrel pretty much since he first became a public figure. He’s shown to be a buffoon, sexist and all the other stuff since the very beginning. I remember thinking he was an asshole back in the 80s.

It's his smile.

What makes it even better is that in the fullness of time, McDonald's product placement has taken a more prominent role in Trump lore.

He is absolutely not a likeable guy. But every once in a while he’ll show tiny glimpses of what it might have been like if he was just a harmlessly entertaining, piece of shit TV personality and not in such a position of power where his thoughts and actions have real consequences. He should have been a judge on America's Got Talent or something.
