I can't stand Trump.

Liking him and acknowledging his charisma are two different things. MAGA is a cult of personality and he’s the undeniable leader. MAGA will not outlast him. And that’s due to his charisma. They have no one else that can match him. I can certainly recognize that. But it still doesn’t make him likable.

Same thing is happening with all those Vance memes.

My favorite thing about those Vance memes is you just know they're actually really pissing him off. He's just stewing over them behind the scenes.

Guys, I get it. And yes I'm trolling a little bit here. However, this much actually is sincere: Trump is a likeable guy. That's the con. He has used the likeable parts of his personality to con.

And I still disagree. He’s a manipulator. He’s a used car salesman. He can MAKE people like him. That’s a different thing entirely.

He never recreated that majestic Who Believes in Santa Claus skit, which was easily his best work.

But nuclear proliferation. Lovely. I’m sure this will have a calming effect on Russia, and its allies in Iran and Eastern Europe will certainly not double down on their nuclear ambitions

If only there were some way for Europe to feel like a major nuclear superpower had their back, in a way that was dependable, consistent, and not likely to be eradicated at the whim of an idiot. I bet that would be a pretty good way to prevent Eastern Europe from becoming a nuclear proliferation nightmare. Has anybody looked into that?

It will be the Mexican cartels, which have apparently taken over Canada. It’s getting so bad he might have to send the military in to take care of it in order to protect American lives.

It’s interesting that, as part of the deal to pause the tariffs the first time around, Canada agreed to officially declare certain cartels as terrorist organizations. Seems slightly concerning. Or am I just paranoid?
