Is this the Metroidvania game with no checkpoints or save states?

No, it saves each time you die. It's a rogue-like, so you die a lot. Some upgrades and other things carry over however.

Battalion 1944. Old school CoD2 style competitive MP fps. Lovin' it.

That sounds great. CoD2 was my jam back in the day.

Finally got around to playing the Resident Evil 2 remake and man it is fantastic, I might say the best RE made to date. As a few said, there are some genuinely terrifying moments in this game. The deluxe version was worth every penny because it adds the option to swap the game's soundtrack with the original 1998 (and outstanding) soundtrack. Nostalgia city over here.

Game Pass added Metro Exodus, which just came out a few months ago and is supposed to be good. Going to jump into that tonight. Game Pass is legitimately the greatest thing ever. I never buy games anymore.

I’ve got a PS4 but basically use it to play a few games online with friends. Their PS Now or whatever is terrible compared to Game Pass.

I've never tried PS Now. I would love a Game Pass-like service on the PS4. The rumors of it coming to the Switch are very intriguing.

There's just not enough Xbox exclusives that justify me getting one right now. Maybe that will change with the new box and all the studios they've been buying.

Yeah I need to jump back into Days Gone. Was buggy as hell when I first started, but now that 20 billion gigs of updates have come out since then, I'm hoping for a smoother ride. Plus I'm still having too much fun with RE2, plus I want to finish up MK 11's awfully written (but fun) story mode.

I ended up getting it for $30. Wanting to explore the open world and goof off a bit. Not sure if I will ever finish it. Just want to see what it is all about.

It's slow at first, but then becomes so addicting.

Downloaded NBA 2k19 for the Switch because of the crazy deal and the portability factor. It is chugs a bit and is clearly struggling to get to 720p, but the gameplay and modes/options are identical to the other versions. Pretty impressed.

Looking forward to having it as an option when I'm out of town.
