It might be awhile before they actually come out.Simple Torture wrote:It's looking more and more like Bethesda games will be Xbox exclusives in the future, which is very disappointing. I don't have a PS5 yet and probably wasn't going to upgrade for another few years, but this has the chance to push me in the direction of Xbox.
True. I've heard 2022 thrown around for Starfield, but I imagine we're still years out from Elder Scrolls 6. But if those aren't on PS5, I'll want to play them eventually--maybe wait until late in the cycle and try to get an Xbox S for cheap.Monkey_Driven wrote:It might be awhile before they actually come out.Simple Torture wrote:It's looking more and more like Bethesda games will be Xbox exclusives in the future, which is very disappointing. It's a true PS5 game. Not a forward compatible game. Not designed for PS4. It'll be my first actual next-gen game.tree_ wrote:I am not excited at all for Ratchet and Clank. I've never played one. Can you tell me what about it is exciting?
I understand your position, I actually used to feel the same and was never interested until I played the remake of the original on PS4 (it's free by the way on PS+). It's definitely a more G-rated affair, but the story and voice acting are well done. The PS5 game looks amazing and will likely feel like you're playing a Pixar movie. I'm normally into more mature themed games as well but this one looks too good (and fun) to pass up. Insomniac is on a roll lately and this one looks to be another home run.tree_ wrote:Man.. it just looks so childish/cartoony.. I wish my kid were a little older and I'd buy it for him

I'm thinking it will be August or September.CopperTom wrote:I'm guessing a fall release date is all but guaranteed.
Gran Tourismo was pushed back so that's possible. I still hope for Halo v. Horizon v. Zelda heavyweight battle in the fall.Monkey_Driven wrote:I'm thinking it will be August or September.CopperTom wrote:I'm guessing a fall release date is all but guaranteed.
Sony typically releases their big first party games outside of the fall (other than during a console launch) to make room for third parties, so I'm thinking this will early October at the latest.CopperTom wrote:Gran Tourismo was pushed back so that's possible. Did you find the first one difficult? The special armor made it very manageable.Revelator wrote:Anytime in 2021 is a win for me. Given the lack of news of late I was totally expecting to soon see a "delayed to 2022" message come out from Guerilla. I'm pretty pumped for this one and Ratchet. I just hope the Horizon difficulty can be adjusted a bit for us less-skilled gamers (i.e., don't make it Souls-level difficult).
No I loved the first one (I should have mentioned that in my last post)--I mean it was difficult at times, but by no means unbearable (like Souls and Returnal). There was a bit of a learning curve, but definitely caught on once you learn how to armor up. Guess what I'm saying is I hope the difficulty will be similar to the last one!Monkey_Driven wrote:Did you find the first one difficult?
