Spotify’s policy on new albums

“New albums are usually available the official day of their release at midnight and one minute (according to the time in each country).“

So I’m assuming singles would be the same.

It does say it can differ from artist to artist

Only one way to find out I guess

How cool was 2002 when everything leaked?

I always found listening to the leak was more exciting. what a thrill of combining an illegal activity with unreleased music you have no willpower to wait for.

being on the discord at midnight, waiting for old mate to rip "Fear Inoculum" was way more fun than waiting for it to officially appear on streaming services.

Annoying was all we had on RM in the PJ down years, many times I logged in just to see 34 new puns.

Nailed it.

I remember downloading Riot Act early. Sub-standard mp3 rips from what I think was a radio station copy.

Those were the days.

Somehow this racked up over 5000 views (and a bunch of dislikes!). Did someone post it at the Pit?

Agreed. Great days & can’t wait to do it again hopefully

I did enjoy jumping on the leaked Tool Album earlier in the year.

Remember that Wilco album that leaked months before it's release? Even before it was mastered??
