Finally got to go for a headphone walk with this album and Retrograde, of all songs, hit me the hardest. Weird.
But awesome.
As such, I'm upping it to a 4 star song.

Ed sounds better and better from the start to end of this song- extremely strong vocal performance!

I will admit, I do enjoy the song and think the last half is top notch stuff....but that video is absolutely cringe-worthy. Especially when Greta shows up in it.

This song and video are two of the cringiest things of the last 35 years. Sure, Ed hits the notes. But how does he sound, really? It's just so bad. So bad. Like a mid-tier Tarzan soundtrack karaoke feel.

I just think it is an awkward moment in the video. i cant figure out why. Is it because she is a kid? the animation? I think her inclusion makes sense thematically. it would feel pandery but the album (and band history) negate that
