If they were confident that LB was fucking good, they wouldn't care.

b/c they are nazi's

they cant delete our gmail account stuff right? so fuck them
They could .
Google will probably suspend the account and then we will make another one!
would google really give a fuck about pearl jam?
It's the unusual account activity (logging in from multiple locations within a certain period of time) that would make them suspend it. Happened with the last account during Backspacer I recall correctly.

this is why the rest of these demos need to leak. so they can finally be safe. with us.
That's for damn sure, i hope someone can get the hook up on the other 9 tracks

What art is most useful for, is being provocative.
art is best when the creative expression provokes other people to experience thought/feelings that they'd never have without that creative expression.

in this way, Pearl Jam were masters in the first ten years of their career. If they'd spent the most recent ten years doing the same thing instead of making music to connect with a large fan base, they'd expand their fan base organically, to me, instead, they aren't so much provoking reaction or emotion in people, but are instead MARKETING.
that's really well said

Yeah, I just don't think there's much to support that. I think they'd be playing about the same places now than if they'd never made those two records.
There is nothing 'relevant' about S/T and Backspacer. There is plenty to laugh at about them though. Before those records, I never thought Pearl Jam and 'laughing stock' could be synonymous in my mind, but sadly, they are, and too often. What is musically 'relevant' about Backspacer? What space in the contemporary music scene is it supposed to occupy? It sounds, production-wise, like an album they thought might occupy some space in the radio-friendly world. But still, this is Pearl Jam, and I find it impossible to compare the sound of Backspacer to any other band on the planet. But for all the wrong reasons.
I agree but it produced some lasting singles because of the pop and accessibility .

Did anyone think that with all the open talk and links in here about these new songs that 10C wouldn't shut it down? It's 9 a.m. in Seattle, they are just getting to work and putting the hammer down. Good think this leaked here overnight.

thanks, friend.

much of my reasons for flipping out for this band when they first started in the early 90s is in that post. I've had 20 years to think about it.
Hearing the new/old songs just reminds me of what I loved so much about them. I'm sad they don't actively do this much these days, but man oh, man- it's cool as hell to get little gems like these and remember them again like they used to be...
