Have you kept at it? When I got back into longboarding after a long hiatus, my lower calf muscles would scream at me. All of those stabilizer muscles I forgot I even had, staging a revolt.

Shoulda gone to Strat's guitar yoga. That's on me.

Yeah still skating at least once or twice a week. Definitely feeling it in the calves but the main thing for me now is plantar fasciitis - 30-45 minutes of skating and I’m walking like Frankenstein s monster the rest of the day. Worth it though. Actually I was just looking up foot stretches to help with it, gonna start doing them at night and see if it helps
