im kinda wishing Lovie would give the play calling back to Fraizier or fire him and bring in someone he will trust to make the defensive play calls because they are just awful. the offense is doing enough right now to win games but the defense is shitting the bed
Yeah, the only bright spot from yesterday and the past couple of weeks is that Winston isn't making mistakes, and is on the money with some great accurate throws to Evans. The O-line is on and the running game is benefiting. Hell, the offense looks great! But the defense, boy oh boy it is bad. What makes things worse is they have good players on defense. And what about those penalties yesterday?!
I say it all the time and I'll say it again; prevent defense doesn't prevent anything. I don't know why coaches continue to run it in these last minute situations.
I'm looking forward to Jenkins coming back at TE to give Winston yet another great weapon.
yeah, the only real issue i think the Offense had yesterday was that the Defense was letting Washington keep the ball so long that they seemed to have gotten out of rhythm. i really wonder if they would have gone for the TD instead of the FG at the end and were stopped if the D would have done better in that situation, maybe Washington would have been a bit more conservative since they could have tied with a FG and maybe at worst they ended up in overtime

Yeah I didn't like that call. Even if they didn't score the TD on 4th down, it backed Washington up a lot more than the 25 which is where I think they started. Also, they should have given the ball to Martin on 3rd down, he had a better chance to power through than Sims did.

lovie is gonna lovie. Man that was absurd. After the game he said he was afraid to put more points on the score board. First don't say that even if you think it. Second...what??!!!
At least Winston is playing really well. It looks like the game is finally slowing down for him.

The media in Tampa have all turned on Lovie. This is gonna get really ugly by seasons end or hell after the falcons game.

Man, they've got to keep him around though. Can't keep doing this "draft a qb then fire the head coach that drafted him and hire a guy who doesn't like him so he drafts another qb" thing. Ugh.

right now my hope if they were to get rid of Lovie would be to promote Dirk to HC and he can hire an OC he would trust and they can hire the best DC money could buy. im pretty sure Dirk is good with Winston so we wouldnt have to worry about him wanting to get another QB and as much as i LOVE having a defensive scheme named for the Bucs, it will be time to move onto something else so the DC should come in and change everything up, they havent really spent any draft picks on the D in a while and McCoy and David should be able to play in any defense, though im sure both would be best staying in a 4-3

I agree. Winston has been solid to very solid so far that fact may save Dirk's ass here. And yep I do think it's time to move on from the Tampa 2.

Fucking christ, Tampa couldn't hold a lead if the other team had third stringers in on offense

I'm glad Tampa won, but a second 4th quarter collapse in a row is very worrisome

Yeah, that 4th and 1 in our own territory? Yikes.

That was the right call. The defense couldn't stop shit so I have no issue at all with that call. I just couldn't believe they called a timeout after showing the 4th down play and then used the same play after the timeout. Not smart.

Mike Evans is a pathetic WR right now. Dude needs to get his act together.

What do you guys mean with Evans? I didn't watch the game but he had a nice stat line.
