Do the exact opposite of what that’s done.

Get into Gaza with proper aid lift the restrictions and do the fuck away with the prison terminal entry points in Gaza and West Bank release all the 1600 children they have in prison and countless thousands more (who are adults and in prison just for being Palestinian)
Move the dialogue to normal people and cut Hamas out and stop funding them and equivocating Palestinians with Hamas and yes netenyahu Fucking funded then and is responsible for all this now.

Other than that? Go back in time. Set up the Jewish state in Nebraska or Iowa or wherever it was it was originally meant to be and we would none of us have this slaughter right now
Not sure tho that any of these actions help to stop Hamas from wanting to burn, rape, and kill all the Jews, and to continue to teach other young Palestinians to want to do the same. Except maybe the cornfield time machine- that could be effective i guess.

Body of at least one hostage found near the hospital. Hard to doubt that Hamas was in the area now.

And you think that’s a solution and Israeli kids aren’t taught the same?

Really?

No not really offering any solutions myself at all actually. Except maybe seconding your cornfield Time Machine proposal. Seems like that solution has as good a chance as any at avoiding one last full blown religious war.

After Hamas attacked the way they did, there was no way this was going to continue on in peace. Israel had to strike back, but their response has been excessive, in a way that there is now a crime upon a crime.

Still we have to look to the future, for a future peace. And no matter the solution, there is plenty chance for the people of Gaza to have a good life. If they are again free to determine their own future outside of Israeli control, they too should look for peace. Not build weapons, but electricity, their own water supply (or ways to clean sea water), be self sufficient, get an agreement with Egypt on their border crossing there. Get the gas and oil outside of Gaza and work on it. They can have a bright future.

How would you distinguish between the people of Gaza, and Hamas? The things that we all want for the innocents must be achieved through a change in authority and leadership. How is that supposed to happen you think?

There is a lot of support for Hamas, and still they do not run the West Bank, they are not all powerful. Therefore it was important to stop them from being in power in Gaza. Israel needs to target their leadership there. Whatever leadership there is in Gaza going forward, it can't be Hamas.

apparently there have been a few senior people in the state department that sent formal dissent letters (i forget the technical term) to blinken saying they disagreed with the way the US approached this

According to the news here, they estimate between 45 700 and 61 200 buildings destroyed in Gaza in the current conflict.

It would be interesting to know what the alternative plans are as in the media they seem to be some variant of "Let Hamas continue to exist and have them pinky swear it wont happen again"
"The fatal flaw of all revolutionaries is that they know how to tear things down but don't have a f**king clue about how to build anything."

And 1.7 million people permanently displaced.
So where are they going to go?
