I wish I could tell you the one that gave me the most trouble. It was something regarding toppling him and shooting the pads of his feet. Does that ring any bells? It wasn't even very far into the game. I refused to cheat and look up a guide but it took me what seemed like forever.

Yeah, that one was tough at first, but when you got the hang of how to maneuver, it made a lot of sense

This guy? I was lucky and saw his glowing pads almost immediately.



I just beat the colussus who can be controlled by striking the things on his head. That was cool even though I had no idea where I had to go with him at first. I tried the right solution once (jumping on top of the little shrines/buildings) but was too impatient and jumped down again before the colossi stood up. After a while I tried that again and voila: Wonderful fur on his belly for me to grab.



The fucking sandsnake was intense as hell. Having to ride in front of it while trying to aim your bow to hit his eyes.

I also want to say that Dark Souls II is the first time in a million years that I'm excited for a video game release.

I am on my New Game+3 in Dark Souls. I know what it is to challenge ones-self.

Who wants to play me in bullet chess by the way?

I recently heard Shadows of the Colossus described as an open world punch out.

This is a beta that they pushed out as a $60 game.

So I'm poised to pick up a 2DS. I can always sell it once I'm done with Pokemon, which is the only reason I want one.

Almost done with GTAV, most fun I've had with a video game in a long time.

You should get Fire Emblem Awakening as well. Fantastic strategy RPG and my favorite game on the system.

that seems to be the norm with games in these days of web connected systems. push it out as is and patch it later. day 1 buyers ARE the beta testers

An unfortunate trend that isn't going to improve anytime soon. It is almost best to wait a few months and just buy it after the initial patches.

Price usually drops by $10 in the first few weeks as well. I haven't seen many pre-order extras that have been tempting recently, either.

Eh that sounds too good to be true, to be honest. I can't be fucking around with much outside of speed chess or nostalgia grenades.

Ya it's a shame about the hard freezes, but other than that I haven't noticed any other issues.

It took a little bit to get used to the new maps (it always does with each version), but I really like the variety and uniqueness of the maps and the way they can change as matches progress. Had a cool WTF moment on Paracel Storm when I heard a ship's horn wailing and turned around only to see a giant battleship crashing onto the beach I was on

Can't wait for PS4 version.
