Come on Plat I'm going out of my way to qualify my questions to avoid that sort of response.

Simply asking that question puts blame on the dude who got shot on the face, whether you like it or now.

Not if you are an adult. I'm curious how people would act or how they think they would act if they were pulled over by a cop and harassed. Would they argue or just back down? My curiosity stems from this case but isn't specifically about this case which was why I qualified it to avoid this but I should have known you guys couldn't resist.

I can read, but what you're doing is part of the bigger problem. Instead of inserting yourself into a hypothetical about what you'd do as the person getting pulled over, why not insert yourself into a hypothetical about what you'd do as the cop? The reaction to this should be a conversation about how the aggressor can stop doing shit like this, not about how victims can better mitigate situations with crazed lunatics.

I generally agree with you on this, chud, but I think you're misinterpreting what bada is asking. I don't think he was trying to say anything about this situation by asking; seems more like a curious GD question. Perhaps not the best time to ask it, but I think he meant it innocently.

You might be right.

The conversation he is having deflects from the conversation we need to be having, that's the problem.

Agreed. Like I said, not the best time to ask that question. But I think he was just asking some RM friends for their thoughts and not trying to be part of the real conversation around this case.

Alright, fair enough. But know that your line of questioning is used, often, to tacitly shift the blame to the victims in these confrontations, and is usually prefaced with disingenuous disclaimers that sound very much like the ones you used.

To answer Bada's question, I'm too scared of death or incarceration to do anything other than what the cop says. I think I'd probably look into whether that thorough anal probe was justified later.

I know we don't really know each other but do you really think that I was ignorant to points you just made or are you just making sure everyone who reads this thread knows you are on the right side of cops murdering people. Gee everything I've read from bada over the years leads me to believe he must mean this guy deserved it.

I think, if anything, your question struck me as uncharacteristic to what I know of you as a person. Also why I was surprised when the link was posted and your first comment was "why did he try to speed away?". I've seen RMers defend some heinous shit, sometimes under the guise of "just asking questions" or "just playing devil's advocate". I thought perhaps you were going that route. I'm glad you're not, and I'm sorry I interpreted it that way.
