That was a great game and this could very well be an epic series. Surprisingly, I'm not really down at all. Miami better come handle their business Sunday night or they're in deep trouble, but right now I like what I see. Other than Bosh insisting on taking 3s. Can somebody please tell him he's a very good mid range shooter, but an awful 3 point shooter?? Even Spo said he was probably open for a reason at the end. If the Heat adjust there and keep attacking the basket, and do so even a little more I like their chances. They went at Duncan a lot and he very easily could have fouled out, but that's not how they were calling the game last night. But overall I like the process even if it wasn't the result I wanted to see.

If I was a Miami fan I wouldn't be discouraged. It could have gone either way last night.

I'm still kinda surprised the Spurs won last night. I really thought that anything but their "A" game would result in a loss. While yes, they only had 4 turnovers and played solid D, they also missed a ton of wide-open 3s and Manu missed 4 shots right at the rim.

After all these idiots said the Spurs shouldn't run with the Heat, it'll now be interesting to see if the Heat are actually the team that slow things down and brings out the physical play.

Duncan missed everything in the first quarter. They probably should have been leading for the most of the game actually. Especially considering the Heat barely got to the foul line.

But, I agree that Miami will likely slow things down. LBJ will need to attack the rim much more this time. He was way too generous passing. Bosh is useless. Not sure he should be considered part of the "Big 3."

I liked what I saw from both teams last night. Anyone who doesn't like the NBA or thinks it is a league of iso offense needs to watch this series. These are two teams who know how to play on both sides of the ball. Can't wait to see how each team adjusts for Sunday's game. This series may come down to who can hit the most corner 3's.

I've watched more NBA in the past month than I have in 10 years combined. Great playoffs. And, that game last night was really fun to watch. Hope it goes 7 games.

The mid-2000's slugfests and lack of talent really put a cloud on the league's perception that is slowly starting to move away. This is true basketball being played folks.

I liked this era. Robert Horry annihilating Steve Nash along the sideline in 2007 is one of my favorite NBA moments. But that's mostly because I live in PHX and hate the Suns almost as much as I like the Spurs.

What? I'm not complaining or blaming the refs, just stating a fact. They let them play last night and the game had great pacing and was a lot of fun as a result. I like how the refs called it. The Spurs were better last night, and as Parker said a little lucky too. Last night we saw 40 minutes of great basketball from both teams and then 8 great minutes by the Spurs while Miami tripped all over themselves.

dunking. manu only gets maybe 1 good throwdown a game, other than that they all take on the persona of the big fundemental

They are greater than the sum of thier parts. They have more skill than raw talent. That, and they play in San Antonio. Markets under 5 are tiny and not to be noticed.

If this were the bloody Knicks you would never here the end of it, Tiago Splitter might be getting the Tebow treatment.

Pop is a freaking tremendous coach.

It's OK. Spurs fans are used to it. That's the way MOST of us like it. We just win.

I loved the way the refs were calling the action last night. The low number of turnovers and refs not calling everything gave the game a great flow.

The analysts are giving the Spurs no credit for winning game one. It's just, "Well, Miami always loses game ones. Their hearts weren't in it."
