Wait, what? I only put it in the computer to raid the folders (there are some hidden songs with wild file types and the videos, iirc) and that was it.

Why the fuck are they touring with Korn and Underoath this summer?

Is the headliner Korn or AIC? Seems like it will be Korn. I’m out.

Just realized these guys are coming to Peoria in April. Ticket prices range from $76 to $228. I predict the room fills to half capacity at best.

I looked at tickets. I was almost offended. I saw them about 10 years ago at The Rave in Milwaukee when they were probably more popular and I doubt I paid more than 40.

Hmm. Maybe what me and KD are looking at is a resale site?

Oops, I think he's right -- this is Ticketmaster:
https://www1.ticketmaster.com/alice-in- ... feat5787v1

I think the spots marked on the grid are tickets that are available (through "verified resale"), I thought they were the tickets that had been sold.

I am really surprised by that, honestly. I don't think I'd pay anything to see this -- the "old band touring with new lead singer" thing is just so depressing to me.

William is awesome. I had a good time in 08-09. And this is exactly the kind of show that sells in Peoria.

William's been in AIC longer than Layne was at this point, and has more output to show for it, so I'm not sure we can still call him the "new" singer. Fact is, the music wouldn't be any different than it is if they called themselves something other than AIC, so why not? It's always been Jerry's band and he worked really hard and wrote a lot of fine songs for that brand equity.
I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd.

William is fine, no disrespect to the guy or to the band for soldiering on, it's just not something I'd spend money on.

Hell yeah!

And for me, it’s not the notes he plays but his tone. That wah is one of the most perfect sounding wah sounds in the history of music.
