I had high expectations for the album (maybe still have), but this is a very forgettable song.
Lazy vocals by Kiedis, BigMuff solo replicating vocal line and wheres Flea?
Worst than any song from their last album with Josh (but I really like this album).
Anyway, thanks for sharing!!

i like it enough...i heard Flea very prominent in the mix.Is this the final mix? i dig it.
Feels more like a Californication song, and thats maybe why i like it.

Why is Kiedis singing with an Irish accent?
Lots of noticeable auto tune on the verses as well. Interesting.
Vibe is cool enough but nothing new.

The song is kind of generic, but god, its great to hear John again!
I hope this is not the line of thought while listening to the album, though.

It was alright. Didn't blow my panties off or anything, but I didn't mind it

The accent choices are funny, but it's pretty typical Kiedis having fun kind of stuff. He's been using autotune for a long time now, but I agree it's especially audible here.
i think its audible because that gotta be a very rough mix

I was listening direct on Spotify in Australia and yeah, there's some strange artifacts on the vocal track, I just chalked it up to aggressive limiting/compression combined with Kiedas's delivery.

I therefore deduce that this song DID in fact blow off Birds in Hell's panties.

It sounds like something off “by the way” to me

I really really like the first half. Kinda sounds similar to something from Californication and i dig what Kiedis is doing....the chrous not so much. It reminds me of both By The Way and SA (an album i cant seem to actually listen to properly).
But i really like that first guitar moment..feels super John.

Is the new album produced by Rick?
I read somewhere he was working again with the band.

I've never been much of a RHCP fan but I did go see them when they were in Perth a few years ago (2019 I'd guess). Parliament Funkadelic were support and the whole show was pretty damn excellent, gotta say.
