I finally bought the Blu Ray of the complete saga since it was half off on Amazon. Kind of excited to watch the prequels in 1080p.
I figured this will hold me over until the 4k releases of the entire saga.dimejinky99 wrote:I’m not entering the world of Blu rays til IX is out on Blu ray.
Then just buy one of the ultimate collector sets with all 9
TPM looks awful on BD sadlyMonkey_Driven wrote:I finally bought the Blu Ray of the complete saga since it was half off on Amazon. Kind of excited to watch the prequels in 1080p.
Damn. What are the main issues (early CGI?)?LoathedVermin72 wrote:TPM looks awful on BD sadlyMonkey_Driven wrote:I finally bought the Blu Ray of the complete saga since it was half off on Amazon. Kind of excited to watch the prequels in 1080p.
D+ being 4K makes me think you'll never see it.Monkey_Driven wrote:I figured this will hold me over until the 4k releases of the entire saga.dimejinky99 wrote:I’m not entering the world of Blu rays til IX is out on Blu ray.

Maybe. Even Netflix releases some shows on Blu Ray though.bune wrote:D+ being 4K makes me think you'll never see it.Monkey_Driven wrote:I figured this will hold me over until the 4k releases of the entire saga.dimejinky99 wrote:I’m not entering the world of Blu rays til IX is out on Blu ray.

It was shot on 35mm while II and III were shot digitally. Lucas wanted the appearance to be uniform across all three, so they used DNR to scrub all the grain (and all the detail) away. It looks like smooth, processed shit. Hopefully that gets fixed if we do get a 4K release.Monkey_Driven wrote:Damn. You mean the background? Yes, if so you are right. However, all three scenes in front did happen.Simple Torture wrote:Obi Wan didn't fight Darth Maul on Tatooine. [/Comic Book Guy]Anders wrote:
