Jeez
Hard agree. Almost 3 hours is way too long for fucking Batman. It'll probably keep me from seeing this until I can watch it from my couch.
I'll probably watch it in two parts.

I downloaded the soundtrack this morning; it's all great but I particularly love the horror elements ("Mayoral Ducting" and "A Bat in the Rafters 1 and 2") and the emotional pieces ("Sonata in Darkness")
if this movie ends up being set on Halloween I'm gonna be happy

One of my favorite, and gorgeous, Batman tales but definitely a mini-series at the least.

there's one track referencing Halloween and another with pumpkin pie in the title (I think the Riddler is eating one in one of the clips)oasisfan35 wrote:The Long HalloweenMs Harmless wrote:I downloaded the soundtrack this morning; it's all great but I particularly love the horror elements ("Mayoral Ducting" and "A Bat in the Rafters 1 and 2") and the emotional pieces ("Sonata in Darkness")

I dunno that last trailer showed some promiseBurtReynolds wrote:VibesMs Harmless wrote:what evidence have you seen so far of suckage?BurtReynolds wrote:Standing by my original prediction that this is going to suck.
One thing I've noticed about this release cycle, in contrast to the last time there was a live-action standalone Bats movie, is that I feel no personal investment in this thing being good. Back then, it felt real high stakes for me whether I liked a Batman movie or not. I guess that was 10 years ago now so it makes sense that it doesn't feel the same anymore
