Yeah it certainly seems to have. Trouble is there’s other reports basically saying they’re making series for Phasma and Rose Tico and Finn pretty much everyone and they’re ‘in development’. So I basically don’t believe any of it.

20th anniversary Phantom Menace panel at celebration is on Monday. The last day.

Here’s my prediction. They’ll have all the cast on as per usual.
Then when it’s closing they’ll have Ewan rock out ‘hello there!’ And announce it.

They’ll own the headlines for the week and overnight have millions more Disney + subscriptions raring to Go.

I’m probably wrong but this is what I’d love to see.

Yeah, I'd LOVE to see that happen. That's what I'm hoping for. But it seems more likely to me that they won't announce at Celebration this year and they'll wait to see how The Mandalorian does first. It sucks that Kenobi keeps falling victim to the success of other properties.

I think it’ll be this year. They need a huge launch and a sustained level of interest in the platform to make a go of it. Mandalorian and Cassian aren’t enough to carry that I don’t think. From a SW fan POV.

Someone better educated than me put it well. ‘There’s been far too much smoke about this for far too long for it to be nothing, and if it is nothing, for them to ignore. They can clearly see what the market wants. And they won’t ignore that’.

So as Ruddo often says on this, it’s a matter of when not if.

I think it’ll be announced this celebration.
