Yeah. I got it in a bonus disc with the first album. It had Winnebago, Podunk, How I Miss You and Ace Frehley’ Ozone. I’ve never come across Pocketwatch.

It was the b-side to This is a Call.

That first single was great.

I don't know what Pocketwatch is, but that other release you're talking about was my first exposure to FF and it's so great. I remember buying it as a solo disc, however. Labeled as the Big Me extended single. Had a 50s girl bowling on the cover.

I was just looking thru the track listings for their albums on Wikipedia and it never occurred to me that the other band members were co-writers all the bay back to TC&TS. I just assumed Dave wrote everything those first few albums.

Great one. I didn't realize it was written during Nirvana. Reminds me a little bit of Marigold.

In Your Honor is the last Foo Fighters album I'm familiar with. I looked up the tracklist just now and was super surprised to see that it was released 17 years ago. WTF.

Wasting Light was pretty good - Pat Smear returns, mixed by Alan Moulder (Siamese Dream, Loveless, Mellon Collie etc.)

The only Foo Fighters record after The Colour and the Shape that I've really listened to.

Damn, that was on pocketwatch too. I’ve laid no attention to their b-sides.
Friend wasn’t a b-side. It was an album track.

"ill stick around" is so damn good. these guys kinda remind me of weezer in that their early stuff is so damn good, and then they just kinda go down hill. although i think their last album was much better than anything they've released in the last decade.

i still can't believe this fuckin guy died. it's weird b/c its not as heavy for me as when cornell or leroi moore died, but it just fucking sucks. taylor hawkins is the only reason i would have seen them, and now one of my biggest concert regrets. i saw of clip of taylor playing with josh homme, andrew watt, chad smith and a couple other people singing 'hot legs'. the guy was just a rock star and always looked happy when he was performing. this sucks.

Love Friend of a Friend. The softer side of that double album was really good.

Love all the top ten lists that are rightfully full of 1st and 2nd album bangers.

Would be interested to see a mix of genuinely enjoyable post In Your Honor tracks.

Let It Die is from ‘07. And while technically Friend of a Friend predates the Foos, it wasn’t released until 2005.

I don't know much Foo Fighters at all, but I remember liking stuff from One By One, and every time I hear All My Life I think it's one of the better FF songs I've ever heard. I don't really see anybody mentioning it as one of the better albums, am I way off?

I think that one is generally regarded among the fanbase as a handful of good songs and a bunch of filler, a general perception at least somewhat colored by it being Dave's own stated opinion of the album.

I like "Low" quite a bit, actually. Maybe I'd put that in my list.
