Watching the Warriors is better than watching the Rockets/Hornets/Mavs/Cavs who shoot just as many threes but miss so much more of them.

regular season the dubs shot almost 32 3s a game

houston, hornets, cavs and mavs were behind them at 30, 30, 30 and 28

in the playoffs, cavs actually have shot more 3s and made more for a better percentage

Not too much of a difference between 32 and 30/28.

Cavs have been hot, no doubt, but their competition has something to do with it too.

If you look at regular season 3-point defense, the playoff opponents of the two teams are pretty similar in that regard and Atlanta was actually the best either of the two teams played.

If you look at regular season 3-point defense, the playoff opponents of the two teams are pretty similar in that regard and Atlanta was actually the best either of the two teams played.

And Curry missed some games... It all evens out. I'm looking at their percentages over the course of the season and playoffs for a better sample.

The Cavs are definitely the closest the Warriors have to a peer in this regard.

I was listening to the Ringer NBA Podcast yesterday, and they were discussing the possibility of Durant leaving OKC.

One of the guys posited that if he does and Westbrook follows, the franchise itself could be in danger.

Wouldn't it be a crazy, awesome redemption story if the Thunder turned back in to the Sonics?

I'd love to hear more discussion on this potential, or maybe it was just one guy talking crazy.

I was listening to the Ringer NBA Podcast yesterday, and they were discussing the possibility of Durant leaving OKC.

One of the guys posited that if he does and Westbrook follows, the franchise itself could be in danger.

Wouldn't it be a crazy, awesome redemption story if the Thunder turned back in to the Sonics?

I'd love to hear more discussion on this potential, or maybe it was just one guy talking crazy.

It would be awesome but doubt it will happen. You never know though. The Vancouver Grizzlies didn't last too long. Fans in OKC seem to love them now but if they lost Durant and Westbrook that team would have hard time pulling free agents and would need some serious luck in the draft to bounce back. Hard to say either way. I miss the Sonics so it is a little hard to not have a little wishful thinking.

Say if this happened or just an expansion team...would Seattle be first in line or does the league still think a team in Vegas is realistic?

I'm against Vegas teams in any sport. It's not a real city so therefore they don't have real sports fans. Everything about pro sports in Vegas would be plastic.
