Finished this. Really enjoyed it.
I would have predicted otherwise. Glad you dug it.
Really? Can I ask why?
I really loved it.
I also loved it but why wouldn't I? It's a compelling true crime story set within a frame narrative about the difficulty of being a writer, intertwining the two stories such that they create a kind of third rail detective plot, all of which extensively feature Patton Oswalt!

It's just good to know we still have some tastes in common.

In that case, you can think of it as a show that extensively features a guy pretty openly and honestly dealing with his wife's overdose, and he also happened to have a guest spot of the later seasons of VEEP.

Starting this series for the first time. My wife and brother-in-law talked about rewatching.

We just finished ep. 1, and I already dislike Matthew fox’s acting.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

It will take you to Turdville around S4. You will never return.
this is a rewatch...i was just being silly...i've forgotten a crap ton though

this may be a dumb question, but did any shows before Lost do flashback scenes in a similar fashion?

I’m going to be disappointed if they don’t flashback to Charlie’s band playing You All, Everybody!

I’m going to be disappointed, right?
