They said this is the last one. But I could easily see another nine episodes being made in the future. They couldn't bring Palpatine back for each one. But they would have to connect it to the past history. If not, you should rather start something new, like they are doing with the new planned trilogies.

The medical center you see Vader ‘born’ in in ROTS is palpatines sith lair. He keeps a huge collection of sith aretefacts and sith library there and nobody knows about it.

Someone finding that hideout could easily be the basis of any kind of new story. Film or book etc

They took them down off that subsidiary’s site. Not before thousands of SW fans saw them though.

One guy I’ve watched his TLJ reactions and he cried and also flipped off Kylo Ren and got made (since he killed Han Solo). And his wife was consoling him. Similar thing for his TROS trailer reaction.

If my wife saw me crying for a SW trailer she’d be wondering what the eff was wrong with me.

So i googled "chosen one" and this is the first thing that comes up:

Who is the chosen one?
A Chosen One shall come, born of no father, and through him will ultimate balance in the Force be restored." The Chosen One was the central figure in the Jedi prophecy that foretold the coming of the one destined to bring balance to the Force by destroying the Sith.

And then you factor in the title --- Rise of Skywalker -- and that Palps is in this. I guess it makes sense Anakin would have to reappear in some form.

All I’m reading today is variations on my own and coach’s (excellent) post.

And, several conventions that have had Hayden and McDiarmaid booked, have been cancelled and given legal scary stuff from Disney within the last year.
Most notably the Salt Lake City conventions where they both there for the convention, visited a kids hospital together and then had their panel cancelled. Despite photos of them at the hospital going all all over.

And that’s just one.

Anakin is a lock. I’m just fascinated to know how they go about it.
